I am an artist with a varied background including Performance Art, Firespinning, Fine Arts and Graphic Design. As a veteran actress, I was involved in national tours, stage productions and film. Many projects involved some form of print advertising, web marketing or two dimensional art, and this was an area in which I discovered a passion and skill that eclipsed my interest in performing. In 2009 I returned to school to hone my expertise in the area of print design. I moved organically to web and flash design, and my areas of interest are constantly expanding. In 2011, I joined the team at Mr. Small's Creative Life Support as a Graphic Design Intern with their non-profit services department. I am happiest to use my skills to help arts organizations, non-profit companies and organizations that most need community outreach. As an artist and educator, and a proud Pittsburgher, I look for ways to improve my community and to use my talents to help worthy causes. I'm an active member at Rodef Shalom Congregation, and I'm more than happy to assist their Sisterhood with a variety of print and web design needs. I also create hand-drawn portraits in charcoal, oil, pencil and ink. It's a pursuit that is a great stress-reliever and brings me great joy. Digital art is a wonderful method to communicate in the modern world, but freehand drawing feels earthy and natural. I just love drawing faces! I look forward to expanding my work as a Graphic Designer, Portrait Artist, and to assisting organizations in my community with design and artwork needs.
